A Bomb Exploded At A Colorado NAACP! Where Is The 24-Hour Fox News Cycle?

On the night of January 6, a bomb had detonated in Colorado at the National Association for the Advancement of Colorado People (NAACP). What’s even more shocking is the fact that the 24-hour news cycle paid very little to no attention to the event. ThinkProgress’s databases concluded that CNN gave one report at 6:34 a.m., while Fox News and MSNBC haven’t mentioned anything about it since.

One would think that something dramatic and catastrophic such as this bomb incident would be all over the news. On top of this, workers for Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC refused to respond to the questions from ThinkProgress, concerning the lack of attention to the event. However, CNN and other outlets outside of broad-cast did provide substantial coverage of the bombing, but it wan’t front-page material.

What is reported is that someone had placed a make-shift bomb and a gas tank near each other. The bomb did detonate but did not set off the tank. Apparently, this was no military-grade bomb as the device “only [caused] minimal surface charring to the exterior wall of the building.”

Fortunately, nobody was killed or even injured for that matter. The FBI is investigating the motives behind the event and say that it could be linked to domestic terrorism. If domestic terrorism was the case, then why wouldn’t this be all over the news?
